Basics about binoculars
In each category you can find viewing scopes into which you look with one eye (monocular type design) and with a double viewfinder (binocular type design). The monocular has a higher magnification, while the binocular has a lower magnification, but a larger field of view. Non coin operated binoculars
Non coin operated viewing scopes do not require a fee to use them. They are typically used for free use, as well as in places where an entrance fee is charged. So they are popular, for example, on lookout towers, peaks with cable cars.
Coin-operated binoculars
These telescopes have a coin slot. Inserting a coin unlocks the apertures for a predetermined, arbitrary amount of time, after which they are locked.
Binoculars with a card payment terminal
The latest solution adapted to today’s realities are viewing scopes with a payment terminal. Payment by bank card is a convenient and fast method of payment. Once the payment is made, the principle of operation is the same as in a coin-operated viewing telescope – unlocking the aperture for a specified period of time.
